Mission

The Apache County Democratic Party strives to elect Democrats to public office who embrace our shared values. To further this mission, the ACDP:
1. Works to increase the number of registered Democrats
2. Recruits, trains, and promotes registered Democrats as candidates for elected office
3. Supports their campaigns, and assists them in office
4. Works for and promotes accurate, transparent, and fair elections
5. Raises funds to support the above activities and to advance our mission
6. Conducts other activities as appropriate to strengthen and promote the aims and objectives of the Democratic Party
7. Works to Get Out the Vote.
VISION:
The Apache County Democratic Party envisions a society that is based on and upholds the principle from the Declaration of Independence that all human beings are created equal.
VALUES:
In order to create that society, the Apache County Democratic Party promotes the values of inclusivity, diversity, voting rights, freedom, and economic security.
Demographics
As of 2023, the estimated population of Apache County is 65,036. The demographic composition is predominantly Native American, accounting for approximately 73.2% of the population, primarily from the Navajo Nation. White residents make up about 23.6%, and other racial groups constitute the remaining percentage.
